The Sakima family came into power hundreds of years ago, when the family claimed royalty as king, but as the years passed their time in the sun came to end like all things. So when the family was overthrown, they escaped with their wealth, and that was when the Sakima gang was founded. They kept many of the traditions going that were in place when they ruled the land, like passing the title of leader down to the eldest of their off-spring. It never mattered about sex, the leader could be male or female.
The other siblings would be sent off to lead the Sakima gangs in other countries. The family has always kept the top positions in the gang open only for the great cat species, as they consider all other species inferior; their positions are only kept open for majestic and elegant cats like Siberian Tigers, Cheetahs, Panthers, Eurasian Lynx’s, Ocelot’s, Caracal’s and Leopards. They dislike lions greatly for many different reasons. One is because the family that overthrew them in the begining were lions, and like all lions, they tried to kill the whole family and nearly managed to succeed. The other reason is that lions beast brethren, and anthro lions ancesters killed other big cats for no real reason, other then to eliminate competition.
They do let all other species enter the gang though, but they will never claim a position of real power within the gang, and always will be looked down upon by the higher ranking inner circle.
The highest rank a none cat species has ever made was actually one of the generals on the Sakima family table, but he was killed in mysterious circumstances. But it was obvious that it had been one of the Top feline generals.
The gang's rank system is pretty simple. The inner circle that sit at the main table in the Sakima family main office as generals and advisors are all cats. Then, pretty much other species can claim a spot anywhere up to that point. But obviously the leaders and generals will rather appoint a cat into those important spots so it rarely happens. The closest a none cat species can get to this table and the generals is normally being a body guard or driver, sadly. But seeing that the leader's most trusted bodyguard is a russian wolf, who is also the gangs top assassin, wherever Taima (the leader) is, the Russian wolf is always following.
The family and the other leading families are very strong believers of honor and duty. If any member of the gang is killed, no matter what their post is, the killer is crushed mercelessly if it can happen. If anyone disrespects the leader or the gang, they, no matter who it is, (ranging from being a president of a country or a boss of the biggest corporation around) will have their tongues cut out.
That is the gangs favorite form of punishment. To cut a limb off someone. So many of the gang members have missing apendages, while the enemies often have a lot more missing. They often cut off a body part that fits the crime or failure.
Their criminal activitys are similar to any other gang. Anthro trafficking, gun trafficking, cars, drugs; anything really. The thing is, the higher ups will very rarely get their paws dirty. All the Sakima family are trained feircely in combat, as it is expected of them to be able to fight. But the other generals often have very strong anthro muscle behind them to back them up, as they can't really fight since they are there to think. Then, they shall fight if needbe.
All the planning and talk go on in the Sakima family mansion. They live on a massive plot of land out in the hills; the generals living on smaller mansions on the same land. The Sakima family mansion is hundreds of years old, and is still in stunning condition. The gardens are like a scene out of Eden, and over the years the mansion has had extensions and more modern fittings, but the Den in Taima’s office have relics and book going back to the very beginning of the family lienage, and no one is allowed in there but him.
As for were the other gang members, they get the orders and relaxes. The family owns a Bar called the “Crazy cat club”. It plays jazz, blues, and swing music by live bands. Its modern decorating is cool and icey. In the back are private rooms where bussiness is taken care of, pleasure or other wise. The bar man is the manager of the club, and he is not one to be messed with. For one, he has some mean weapons hidden under the counter. So if you are looking for work, looking to join, or just hanging out (even if you not in the gang), the Bar is the place to be. But you must have money or be well known. If you're not in the gang, the door men wont let you in, and if you try to force yourself, you will be killed, no matter who you are.

Well Roleplayers, What I thought would be cool would be to write up a list of some ranks that the gang needs, so you can have a piece of the power pie , And I'll let you come up with cool ideas and anthros to fill in the positions, then rp them as the way you want to. Other than that you can come up with Ideas for ranks and jobs on your own and post them up.
