CHRISSY

The look on Tyrus's face gave Luma the chills when Shadowstrike answered his question. She glanced away, and thought for a minute. What if this guy WAS trouble? Still, it seemed rude to think these things of a stranger they had known for only minutes.

Tyrus looked up at Shadowstrike again. ''The Mountain wolves are the most known pack around these lands. But we have kept to ourselves, lately... so I'm not surprised you haven't heard of us.'' He licked his lips again. ''If you three LIKE... I could show you my camp?''
He looked around the group.

Luma glanced towards Shadowstrike, then to Six. She wasn't sure what to think of his offer, but, maybe they would like this pack, maybe it would give her a chance to make new friends, and maybe start a family.
The white and black she-wolf looked over to Shadowstrike and Six. "What do you think?" She whispered, "Truthfully, this wolf gives me the creeps."
She suddenly glanced back over to the large Tyrus. What if he had heard her? She didn't know whether this wolf would get mad easily or not.
But, Luma still thought that the idea of joining a pack would be nice, maybe she would like this pack of Tyrus's. She then decided that she would give it a chance, that is if anyone else were to join her.

From the moment the invitation of seeing the pack, Six instantly felt a bit out of place. He didn't trust this wolf one bit, and he doubted the others did as well. They were setting themselves up if they were to join.. Still, what else could they do? It looked like if they were to decline he would see to it that they did join, and if they did join what was awaiting them? Looks could be decieving, but that wolf's looks, attitude, and lust sure didn't make Six convinced the pack was all too friendly.

"If yer goin I'll have to come too." he said. "I don't think you should go alone, if that's wut yer plannin," Six said. He wouldn't dare have that sleezeball try to get his paws on this femme, especially when she was young. He'd have to watch after her too. "I'll come along jes' so I can make sure you guys are gunna be protected and not get pounced on the moment ya get there.." he said. "I ain't trustin' this fella one bit," he added. He didn't even care if Tyrus heard him. Tyrus might as well know who said what at the moment. Six was fine with speaking his mind.

"But I'll come. For yer sake. Just be careful." he said, this time, more quietly. And his stare went directly to Luma.

Shadowstrike racked his brains on what to do. Tyrus just asked them to join the pack, and Luma seemed like she wanted to join. Six seemed to have reluctantly agreed.

The white and black she-wolf looked over to Shadowstrike and Six. "What do you think?" She whispered, "Truthfully, this wolf gives me the creeps."

"You're not kidding," Shadowstrike said quietly. "He does look like trouble...things might get nasty if we denied his request."

Shadowstrike was amazed of Six. The older wolf seemed so...protective. Shadowstrike had to give Six credit, he'd be a great ally. Shadowstrike then moved his eyes over towards Tyrus. He didn't know what Tyrus was planning, but Tyrus had better hope to hell that he doesn't underestimate Shadowstrike. Shadowstrike was actually a great fighter. He fought against three sabres with a friend and survived. That was another thing: He was a survivor. The scar on his shoulder came from a sabre attack when he was a young pup. He would have died, but he kept his will to live high. He then fought that same sabre in mortal combat, and survived through terrible injuries. If Tyrus would try anything stupid...he would rue the day.

"Well, guess I'm coming too," Shadowstrike said to the other two. "Six, don't know much about you, but you might need some help if that guy has his pack jump us." he then turned his head to Luma. "Luma, if we get attacked, we'll protect you with our lives. Just keep cautious."

((Ack, muse slowly sapped from that XD))

But, Luma still thought that the idea of joining a pack would be nice, maybe she would like this pack of Tyrus's. She then decided that she would give it a chance, that is if anyone else were to join her.

Tyrus couldn't hear what she was saying... but she seemed to think about his request.
Patiently, he waited for the others to give their answers. His pack could grow stronger if he got these three under his power... but he had to be careful. He realised that taking two males back at once was a risk... but he had enough soldiers to keep them down, if things really turned out bad. And he would try to lure them in... not force them in. The old methods had proven to fail; it was time for a new way.

"If yer goin I'll have to come too." he said. "I don't think you should go alone, if that's wut yer plannin," Six said. He wouldn't dare have that sleezeball try to get his paws on this femme, especially when she was young. He'd have to watch after her too. "But I'll come. For yer sake. Just be careful." he said, this time, more quietly. And his stare went directly to Luma.

''So suspicious...'' Tyrus said, calmly. ''Don't worry, Six. You'll be my GUESTS... just a for a few days. You can choose to leave at any time.''
Now there was a lie. He wasn't planning on letting them go, once they'd be in his grasp. But he wasn't going to tell them; acting friendly seemed the best way to get them to his pack without fighting. And besides... it wouldn't be THAT bad if one, or both males left. It was Luma that interested him the most. But the males WOULD make a good addition if he could pusway them to stay....

"Well, guess I'm coming too," Shadowstrike said to the other two. "Six, don't know much about you, but you might need some help if that guy has his pack jump us." he then turned his head to Luma. "Luma, if we get attacked, we'll protect you with our lives. Just keep cautious."

Ignoring their cautious remarks, Tyrus smiled. ''Excellent! Please, follow me... and feel welcome. Oh... and...'' he turned his large head to Ziggy. ''You can feel save too. I'll tell my wolves not to lay a paw on you.''

He then got up, and signalled the others to follow, as he led the way to his pack.

Not much further, a swamp came into sight. Tyrus looked over his shoulder.
''My pack is beyond this swamp. There's a path through; all you have to do, is follow in my footprints. Don't stray; the path is not visible, and if you step inside the swamp, you might be pulled down in the mud.''
He took the lead, expecting the others to follow. He smirked, out of their eyesight. Things would be... PERFECT.

Luma followed the small group along until a rather large swamp became noticeable. Immediately she felt calmer. Her old birth pack's lands were smack in the center of a huge marsh. She took in a deep breath, the moist, muddy scent of the wetlands making her feel at home. Maybe this pack wasn't such a bad idea after all.

'My pack is beyond this swamp. There's a path through; all you have to do, is follow in my footprints. Don't stray; the path is not visible, and if you step inside the swamp, you might be pulled down in the mud.''

Calmer than she was before, Luma trailed along behind, trying to take her time as she walked along behind the others.
Soon, she found herself humming a song.
"We are the lucky ones, We shine like a thousand suns, When all of the colour runs together, I'll keep you company, In one glorious harmony
Waltzing with destiny forever."
This was the song sung by the females during the mating ritual in her birth pack, though those were the only words she knew, she was very little when she had left the pack.
She hummed to the tune of the rest of the song as she padded along. Though she was sure that it wasn't Tyrus or his pack that she trusted, but the marsh.

((The fact that Luma loves wetlands comes from me, I've always found them fascinating myself XD and if you want to hear the song Luma was singing, it's Dark Waltz by Hayley Westenra Wink))

Six just kept his eyes on what was ahead of him. HE felt like he just signed himself up for boot camp or something. Ziggy was shivering as he was on Six's back, curled in a ball. He didn't trust one bit of words that came from Tyrus's mouth. From someone who had tried eating him, how could he give that one a second chance!?

Hearing Luma hum a tune though made him try to gain some hope that things wouldn't turn out as bad as it would seem..

Six just groaned a bit. Destiny... if this was destiny, he might as well shoot himself in the other leg with a spear and make himself frontlegless.

Shadowstrike went with the group as they followed Tyrus into a swamp. Shadowstrike had a strange feeling...he couldn't shake it off. What was this feeling? Was he worried?

''My pack is beyond this swamp. There's a path through; all you have to do, is follow in my footprints. Don't stray; the path is not visible, and if you step inside the swamp, you might be pulled down in the mud.''

Shadowstrike silently gulped. This was definately not good...not at all. He started to get a little too worried, but hearing Luma's tune made him feel at ease, and not full of worry. A thought rang through his mind however. "How in the high heaven could Luma be singing this?" he thought. He didn't ask, however. He liked this tune. However, a voice in his head told him that Tyrus was still not to be totally trusted. That voice brought some of him out of peacefullness, and back into being cautious about Tyrus...

As Luma started humming behind him, Tyrus smiled. She seemed to be at ease... neither of them seemed to be worried about this path. Soon, there would be no way back. Crossing the swamp without knowing the path was practically impossible... that's why all his packmembers where trained to known the path at heart.
He silently hoped none of them would pay enough attention to remember the twisty, curly and traitorous path...

As they finally crossed, there was a bit of woods; beautiful trees, small scrubs, pretty flowers. And just beyond that... the clearing.

The clearing was right in front of a wall of stone; all sides, except the side leading to the swamp, where surrounded by steep rocks, which where simply impossible to climb. There was no escape; the swamp was the only way out.
Inside the rock walls, there where caves. Some wolves had been digging themselves a den near the rocks; it seemed they where used as birthing dens and a place to find some privacy.

As Tyrus led the group into the clearing, wolves looked up. A rather large, white and black male looked up; his head was covered in several scars.
He growled softly.
The other wolves just stared at the newcomers. One cave was guarded by two wolves; they stood before the entrance, so only a glimpse of what was inside the cave could be seen. There where wolves in there... all standing in a row, their rears towards the entrance.

''Welcome to my pack... Meet Bloodclaw, my beta and general.'' He nodded to the black and white, scarred male. ''The other wolves are my soldiers, my hunters, my guards.'' He smiled. ''Make yourselves at home... you can freely walk around. But...'' He turned towards the group. ''Thát cave...'' He pointed his paw to the two guardians. ''.. is forbidden territory. We keep our criminals there. It's not save.''

The black and white beta, Bloodclaw, snickered, but Tyrus gave him a foul look. He stopped laughing and stepped away.

''If any of you are hungry... there is a foodstorage.'' Tyrus smiled again. ''You can have as many meat as you'd like. You are our guests, after all!''

Luma looked back at the path they had just taken as an eerie feeling spread through her body. She didn't know how to get through there, she knew from experience that swamps were extremely dangerous if you don't know your way around them. And around the small camp was a wall of stone, there was no way out.

Luma swallowed nervously. But, of course, if Luma or her companions wanted out, one of the soldiers would escort them out through the swamp, Luma assumed. But, if these wolves wanted to keep the three as prisoners, they very well could do that.

Luma felt as though she had just been lured into a trap, and she may have been, she was feeling very stupid at the moment for falling for Tyrus's trick.
If it was a trick, Luma really wasn't sure what to beleive.
It was either Tyrus was a stranger generously trying to welcome a few rouges into his pack, or he was a traitorous brute that had just tricked them into believing that.

They were leaving the swamp, but as they kept trudging through, Six kept his eyes about him. Even if the fog of the swamp was thick, he tried to catch scents that would be distinct, so he could backtrail his way out. He needed to be smart for this kind of thing if he wanted to survive now. It seemed when they would get to the pack, there would be no way out. . . There was not a doubt in his mind that it was not safe in the pack, but as they came to it, his suspicions rose.

Tyrus had introduced his campus. Soldiers all around were seen, and the den that was forbidden was also spotted. Forbidden eh? Knowing that wolf Tyrus, something was wrong. He caught on quite quickly. He was older than these wolves, experienced more of course. He said not a word as Tyrus explained. Already Six found things wrong here. First of all, who the bloody hell named their betas Bloodclaw? Shady characters no doubt. Two, a forbidden den that supposedly held prisoners. He could hardly believe a pack would hold prisoners for that long of time.

What spooked him now was the fact they were here. There was no escape unless they asked, or went through the swamp. He looked to Luma and Shadow. They didn't seem like they were anytime ready to go... But somehow, Six knew if they wanted to leave, Tyrus wouldn't let them in the end. He was stuck here. Just great. He should've stayed back there with the others... He felt like now he should have never left that mountain pride. . . .

Coming back to his senses quickly, he said, "Food huh? Where's the grub?" Not that he wanted any... It was something to stir up conversation so he wouldn't be so.. suspicious and such. For all he knew, the rub was rotten, disgusting, and... untolerable to the seeing eye.
