Forum 2 go changed something in it's rules, something important I feel we should all know about.

I'll copy the message and translate:
Inactive forums shall be removed.
From now on, a forum which did not get new posts in 30 days will get on the list to be removed. A mail will be send to inform the forum administrator that the forum will be removed in 10 days, unless in those 10 days new posts/replies are made.

After 40 days of no posts on the forum, the entire forum will be deleted. (The script will be kept for 41 days, to give one day extra.)

Please pass this on, especially to members with inactive forums.


So... just an important headsup to us all. If I ever happen to be without internet a full month (which VERY well might occur in the future; think vacations and such) I should appoint someone to keep an eye here I guess.

It may be worth having it so every 30 days or something, at least one person should try and post in this thread to keep the activity 'topped up'. And just before you're about to go away, post here as well etc. for the same reason?

I will make sure to let everyone know when I leave for a longer time. :)

In most cases Hekaya will be active enough. And if we for some reason aren't, I'll get a mail and I will act right away. So we should be save 99% of times.

Nope. Caught it on their helpdesk.. they didn't even bother notifying us customers.

But well, I'm happy enough about their service over all, so I won't complain too much. ;) At least it's a free forum with little downtime/maintance nonsense. :D

Aye. :) And I'm guessing it doesn't have limits on what content you can put on here like InvisionFree and Proboards does, so that's an added bonus too.

A bit iffy they didn't bother notifying you though. :roll:
